

This one year project was implemented in Hyderabad division funded by SAP-Pakistan. The prime aim of this project was to create awareness among common citizens about the social issues and good governance. Beneficiaries (5215 men, women and youth) of this project were well informed about the responsibilities of citizens in promotion of governance structure at gross root level.
The campaign against karo kari was lunched in collaboration with Action Aid. Under this campaign seminars for creating awareness among women were arranged in Sukkur, Larkana, and Shikarpur districts.
SDS implemented this project in collaboration with KESSA Dimitra (a Greek NGO) and European Union in province of Sindh. The project was implemented in the four provinces of Pakistan and 40 non governmental organizations were trained. SDS played its role as a lead organization to implement this project in province of Sindh. The main purpose of this project was to build the capacity of local NGOs working on the issues of women and children rights. SDS identified and selected 10 NGOs in province of Sindh through conducting the assessment of these NGOs. More than one hundred NGOs working in Sindh were involved in the process of assessment. Under this project ten local NGOs were involved in the process of capacity building. SDS contacted and coordinated with local CBOs, NGOs and other civil society activists for implementing the project effectively.

of them 53 were women:
SDS implemented this project in collaboration with Pakistan Institute for Labour Education and Rights (PILER).
The main purpose of this project was to mobilize and build the capacity of councilors so that they can
understand the devolution system, newly introduced in Pakistan.
