This project has been implemented in three districts; Jacobabad, Nawab Shah and Sanghar of Sindh province since May 2008 in collaboration with Local Government Department Government of Sindh and UNDP. The main purpose of this project is to build the capacity of local representative’s nazims, conveners, councilors (particularly women), members of Safety Commission, members of Insaf Commission, and members of MAJA established in these interventional districts.
SDS is implementing this proejct in five union councils of taluka Majhand, District Jamshoro in collaboration with Trocaire (Irland). The main purpose of this project is to empower rural women socially and economically, so that they can get rid of violence against women, early and exchange marriages, karo kari etc.Under this proejct five Learning Respource Centres (LRCs) at Ali Abad, Nabzoor Abad, Khanooth, WAPDA Colony Jamshoro and UC 10 Jamshoro.
