Early Recovery Project in Noushehro Feroze

This project is being implemented in District Noushehro Feroze in collaboration with UNDP. The objectives of the project are as under:- • To restore the basic community infrastructure in UC Gachero Old and UC Lalya of District Noushero Feroz. • To enable home-based business and livelihood of 569 IDP families • Reduce Environmental hazard and provide health and hygiene awareness to IDPs communities • Train IDPs on DRR and social protection to minimize the individual interest and community conflict after the end of project life.

Rural Based Community School (RBCS)

SDS has established 25 Basic Community Education Schools (BCES) in slum areas of district Hyderabad in the collaboration with Sindh Education Foundation (SEF). The female teachers of concerned areas are appointed to teach community children. The main purpose of establishing the community schools is to provide education to rural children at free of cost; so that the literacy rate can be increased.

Ending Torture and ill treatment of women in police custody

Sindh Development Society in collaboration with Oxfam GB is going to implement a project named "Ending Torture and ill Treatment of Women in Police Custody" in three district of Sindh, Hyderabad Sukkur and Noushero Feroz. The main objective of the project is to create awareness and improve the observance of women's human rights in Pakistan through supporting civil society organizations in actions aimed at the prevention and eradication of torture and ill treatment and assisting women torture survivors in their rehabilitation society.

Family Health Center (FHC) Tando Allahyar

This one year project is being implemented in Dist: Tando Allahyar in collaboration with NATPOW. The main purpose of this project is to create awareness regarding the reproductive and sexual health among the masses particularly women.
